What will we do
On this excursion we will dive into the soft and humid clouds of the Monteverde forest.
We start from the hotel towards Liberia into the green forest. Here we will be hiking for about 2.5 miles on prepared trails. We will meet a huge number of animals and birds. We will visit the top of the Costa Rican volcanic ridge, from where you can see the Caribbean and Pacific valleys. We will also see a beautiful waterfall in Monteverde Park and after this walk and photos we will have a delicious national lunch.
After lunch we will head to a working coffee plantation. This is not a tourist place, but a real coffee factory. You can see how coffee grows and how it is refined, dried and roasted in Costa Rica.
After drinking coffee, the road home awaits us.
